1st row: (RS). 1 sc in 2nd ch from

Rep last row until work, when

slightly stretched, measures 19½"

not fasten off.

Join ribbing: With WS facing,

working through both thicknesses

of foundation ch and last row of

ribbing, work 1 sc in each sc to end

of row. Do not fasten off.

Turn Ribbing sideways and work

for attaching to Hat. Cut loops at

both ends and trim to smooth

round shape. Sew securely to top

of Hat.
