Place marker on first stitch at end

hook.

3rd rnd: *Work 2 hdc in horizontal

bar in next st. Rep from * around.

24 hdc.

FINISHING

Pompom: Wind yarn around 4 fingers

approx 80 times. Remove from fingers

and tie tightly in center. Cut through

each side of loops. Trim to a smooth

round shape. Attach to top of Hat.
